If you’re new to the investment world (like me), one important rule is the 60/40. Here’s the short version:
60% Stocks
40% Bonds
Biggest reason is balance; second is to learn how to read the market and make smart choices.
The 80/20 rule also applies here (20% work for 80% results) as well as C. Powells 45/75 (sweetspot of business info is between 45-75%).
Another beginners tool (books) are Jessee Livermoore How to trade stocks, The art of war by Sun Tzu(Zi), and The laws of human nature by Robert Greene. With these books you’re already farther ahead of the other beginners.
