Today, make sure if you meet a veteran in person, remember them for the fact they believed our government.
While I respect the military since people join for various reasons, I don’t like how the media and our government can’t agree on current events which lead to a divided country. Vietnam is a prime example.
Our government keeps reminding the general public “protecting freedoms” and “freedom isn’t free.” Who are the military protecting us from exactly? Who’s trying to take away our freedom? Who keeps invading our country to have the public under constant control and possible overthrow?
