When you hear the word Master, what comes to mind? Someone who’s an expert at something? Someone who knows what they’re doing in a specific topic? Someone who has knowledge of a specific topic and has all the right answers?

There’s a rule of 10K (10,000) hours to reach mastery level; which equals roughly 10 years if you work an average of 8-12 hours at a time. There’s also a rule to get you started which is 10K (10,000) minutes, which is 30 days of normal 8-12 hours. The reason I mention the 10K minutes is because it puts you above the curve of average to good to better. Mastery will come over time, just remember to practice what you’re working on, and you will get there.

I bring this up today because I officially got my first affiliate program! And part of the struggle of getting my first affiliate was reaching the 10K minutes (not hours), which is me playing a video game called Dragon Ball Fighter Z. I’m also hoping something comes through of blogging so I can also prove grinding out has a big payoff rather than the usual giving up and moving on to what society calls “a real job.” So far I was able to prove the haters wrong, and it’s a step in the right direction. I still have a long way to go, but it’s a definite start.

Today, try to work on the 10K minutes towards a goal. Remember, if I’m able to grind out, and get into something, you can to. For those who helped me by following and liking my posts, thank you from the bottom of my heart (and stomach).
